Danny Minnick: 18 Workz

18 Workz was Danny Minnick’s first solo exhibition in east Asia, presented by Art Works Gallery in Singapore, and it was a huge success. The show captured Minnick’s trademark blend of street art energy, raw expressionism, and bold colour across a striking collection of large-scale paintings and a car. Sponsored by Lamborghini, the event drew over 1,000 visitors for a live painting event of a Lamborghini Urus, accompanied by a completely sold-out exhibition.

Known for his dynamic brushwork and recurring “broken skateboarder” character, Minnick’s art explores movement, emotion, and the human condition through vivid, abstract storytelling. In 18 Workz, he pushed those ideas further, blending fine art with urban culture and his background in skateboarding, film, and performance.

A highlight of the exhibition was a live art event where Minnick painted a Lamborghini Urus S in front of an audience, turning a symbol of luxury into a living canvas. This performance summed up his approach perfectly - spontaneous, fearless, and unapologetically bold.

The show marked Minnick’s expansion into the Asian art scene, combining street-style authenticity with high-end presentation. 18 Workz celebrated freedom, creativity, and the power of expression in every form, from spray paint to supercars.
