Them The Brakes by D*Face

The wall features one of D*Face’s signature couples, dressed in vintage motorcycle racing gear. This piece is part of a recent series inspired by the idea of “target fixation” a phenomenon where pilots or drivers become so focused on avoiding an obstacle that they end up colliding with it. D*Face cleverly applies this concept to love and relationships, exploring how obsession and desire can sometimes lead us toward the very things we try to avoid.

After mastering screen printing, D*Face started producing his own stickers and took to the streets, using the city as his gallery. His bold, graphic style quickly made him one of the most recognisable names in British street art. Today, his murals and his iconic DDog logo remain symbols of creativity, rebellion, and London’s enduring urban energy.

This mural was made possible thanks to the generous support of A/B Arhusgade 99 / Vardegade 2, @gohotelsdk, @cityliftdk, and xsellis.

This mural can be seen in Østerbro, Copenhagen to this day.
