FAILE, the Brooklyn-based duo of Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller, has been pushing the boundaries of contemporary art since 1999. Blending pop culture, comic book aesthetics, and traditional techniques, their work pulses with nostalgia, duality, and the tension between the sacred and the profane. Their name—an anagram of their original pseudonym, “A LIFE”—embodies their belief that failure is not an end, but a vital step toward reinvention.
FAILE’s art is bold, immersive, and deeply human, transforming urban spaces with murals, screenprints, sculptures, and interactive installations that invite reflection and play. From creating contemporary prayer wheels in Times Square to reimagining nightclubs and urban temples, their work dissolves the boundaries between fine art and the streets, offering a world where memory, meaning, and myth collide.
