Gabe Weis is a Bay Area based mixed-media artist whose practice is rooted in street art and informed by the philosophical tradition of Stoicism. Emerging from an early background in urban art, Weis developed a visual language shaped by spontaneity, public space, and direct engagement with the viewer. Working through an intuitive, stream-of-consciousness process, Weis creates layered compositions using collage and textiles to explore shifting perceptions of reality and the complexity of the human experience.
His work reflects an ongoing interest in transformation, how moments of awareness, disruption, and reflection can open the possibility for profound personal and cultural change.
Weis’s work has been exhibited internationally, including presentations at the Venice Biennale, the Picasso Museum, the Seattle Art Fair, and galleries throughout Asia and the United States. His work has also been exhibited in Qatar, London, and Tokyo
